CLASS POLICY

Registration in a class is not complete until payment is received by Folk School, either online, through e-transfer, or by cheque or cash. If you email us or fill out an online registration form but do not complete your payment promptly, we cannot hold your place in the class. If the class fills, we will cancel the registrations of anyone who has not paid to allow others to register.

We are a small organization, and our class cost is relatively small. We use the registration deadline for each class to determine if the class can run. In order to run, we usually need to meet a minimum enrollment number. This will vary depending on the specific class. If we do not meet the minimum enrollment number, or the instructor has to cancel for personal reasons, and we have to cancel the class, we will offer a full refund.

If you choose to cancel your enrolment in a class for whatever reason, we may refund your tuition under extenuating circumstances, minus the administrative/etransfer processing fee ($5), only up to 5 days before the start of the class.

If you cancel less than 5 days before, we cannot issue a refund, but if you wish to transfer your registration to another future class, that may be possible upon speaking with an administrator.

In exchange for participation in the course you have registered for, you are agreeing to the following statements:
