APPLICATION FOR WORK-TRADE

A work-trade position means recipients give some of their time to help Folk Camp run smoothly by assisting in the kitchen and and with set up/clean up/take down. Recipients receive a discount of up to 50% on total Folk Camp tuition. 

Work-trade position tasks may include:

  • Kitchen: prepping food, cooking, cleaning. (Half-day positions.)

  • Camp set-up and take-down: 1 day before Folk Camp begins, and 1 day after Folk Camp ends, to prepare and clean up the camp.

  • Folk Camp maintenance: moving tables, chairs, cleaning washrooms, stocking washrooms, sweeping/mopping, garbage collection.
